Air Canada Vacations Reveals New India Packages

Air Canada Vacations is offering four vacation packages to India to complement Air Canada’s new route from Toronto to Delhi beginning Nov. 1, 2015...

The new Air Canada Vacations India packages include accommodations in four- and five-star hotels with a maximum occupancy of three guests.

Tours include private transportation and are available with French or English speaking guides, except the city explorer walking tours in Karauli and Pushkar – which are only available in English. Optional tours and excursions such as private yoga sessions, a Taj nature walk in Agra and a photo session in Hawa Mahal are also available at an additional cost.

For every passenger booked on the packages (Delhi Stop Over-City Stay excluded), Air Canada Vacations will plant five trees and donate $5 USD to the Salaam Balak Trust, an Indian non-profit organization that provides support for street and working children in New Delhi and Mumbai.

These programs are available now for bookings for travel beginning in November. All packages are pre-bundled to include accommodations, transfers, meals as per itinerary, day tours and excursions – flights are not included.

The featured packages are:

Delhi Stop Over - City Stay: This four-day, three-night package includes a sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi with a private guide. Tour highlights include the Humayun Tomb and Qutub Minar.

Golden Triangle & Karauli: An eight-day, seven-night package along India's Golden Triangle route; Karauli, home of the famous Lord Krishna Temple; as well as a dinner and interactive cooking session with an Indian family in Jaipur.

Palaces of Rajasthan: Clients will spend 10 days and nine nights exploring historical forts and palaces of Royal Rajasthan. The package also includes a dinner and interactive cooking session with an Indian family in Jaipur, tickets to a Bollywood movie; a boat ride on Lake Pichola and high tea at the Jag Mandir Palace.

Best of North India: Clients will experience an evening Aarti ceremony on the Ganges River including dance performance and dinner with an Indian family, as well as a private boat ride during this 12-day, 11-night trip.

Air Canada’s departures from Toronto to Delhi begin Nov. 1, 2015 and are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flight frequency will increase to daily service on Oct. 30, 2016.
